My favorite invitation suite accessory is belly bands! Belly bands can be a subtle way to elevate the suite and tie all the stationary pieces together.  I love how they keep everything organized for those opening the envelope. Plus, there are so many different design ways to coordinate a belly band with an invitation suite, whether it's a solid color, a personalized monogram, names, initials, etc!

I love the idea of including a couple's doggo on an accessory that's as fun as something like the cocktail napkins, or koozies! I think that's just an adorable way to be personal and express the couple starting a little family with the first commitment of getting a dog together. As a guest, I love to see such a sentiment turned into art and then shared amongst guests for a take-home gift, and I love to have a cute dog that I know on my koozie while I party and celebrate- Just fun all around!

Envelope liners add the perfect amount of “pop!” Keeping the invitation cards more on the traditional side, while reserving the colors, patterns, or custom illustrations for the envelope liner is one of my favorite styles of invitations. Adding more of your personality to the liner is also a good way to avoid looking at your wedding invitations years down the road and thinking they look dated. Envelope liners also look amazing for flat lays, are fairly inexpensive, and don’t add to the envelope postage amount. We usually suggest adding an outer envelope if you decide to do an envelope liner so your guests don’t rip open the envelope with the liner and tearing it. But we also do plenty of invitations with single envelope's with liners too!

Wax seals are my favorite little detail to add to an invitation suite. They are a perfect accessory whether you're wanting a classic and traditional invitation, or a funky and modern one because there are so many color and design options. Wax seals are a great option if you love the look of a clean and simple invitation, but want to bring in something unique to your wedding - such as your main wedding color or monogram. It just gives it that little pop of color and elegance to really enhance your invitations. You can even use them for escort cards or menus on your wedding day as well.

I love using deckled edges to create a soft look in a suite. These hand-torn edges, feathery edges give a romantic or vintage vibe and make the card stand out from the rest.

I love adding silk ribbon as a finishing touch to a clients suite! It really elevates the suite and looks gorgeous in just about any color. If you're willing to splurge a little bit for an add-on, this is the one!

Ashton + Jake :: Romantic Modern Downtown Dallas Wedding

Romantic Modern Wedding in Downtown Dallas

Romantic, modern black and white suite with blush silk ribbon.

We loved designing this custom, delicate, deckled edge invitation suite filled with texture and bold black and white touches. Perfect for this modern Dallas wedding.

Ashton and Jake's downtown Dallas wedding was dripping in romance and glamor. For Ashton, we designed a delicate deckled edge invitation suite filled with texture and a bold black envelope! Their wedding was filled with hues of pink and mauve and perfectly accented with hints of gold. A lush copper floral arch served as a backdrop for both the ceremony and the cake table during the reception. Guests were treated to beautiful pink and gold place settings, and an abundance of roses and greenery on each table. Their pink and white cake with specks of gold leafing perfectly tied in all the romantic and modern elements of this gorgeous downtown reception!
