Amanda and Brendan :: Color Block Invitation for a Mae's Ridge Wedding

In the realm of event planning, the invitation sets the tone for what's to come. It's the first impression, the glimpse into the theme, and the harbinger of excitement. Crafting an invitation that captivates and entices is an art form in itself. Enter the world of color block invitations, where sophistication meets creativity in a seamless blend of hues and design. And we were so excited to do that for Amanda and Brendan!!

Color blocking is a technique that involves pairing contrasting or complementary colors to create visually striking compositions. It's a method that has been embraced by artists, fashion designers, and now, event planners. By juxtaposing colors in bold and intentional ways, color block invitations instantly command attention and evoke a sense of modernity and style.

Emily and Jack :: Spring Wedding at Mission Ranch in Carmel-By-The-Sea

Thank you Style Me Pretty for featuring us on your cover! You can read the full post here or below.

We wanted to bring the outdoors in. Emily & Jack’s wedding evoked such a feeling of spring. Transforming the space at Mission Ranch was no small feat. We brought in draping to soften up the rustic structure of the ballroom, hung floral-filled chandeliers from the ceiling to make the room more fitting for the intimate group, and made sure to fill the event with soft mood lighting to set the tone.

Another element we absolutely loved was the couple’s seating chart display – featuring a polaroid image of every single guest at their wedding, complete with calligraphy name and table number. We hung floral-filled chandeliers from the ceiling to make the room more fitting for the intimate group.

Vanessa and Travis :: Watercolor Venue Invitation at The Grand Lady in Austin

This blog post captures the essence of a wedding at The Grand Lady in Austin, highlighting its charm and timeless elegance while celebrating the magic of love and togetherness.

As a wedding invitation designer, we’ve had the privilege of being a part of countless love stories, each as unique and beautiful as the next. However, there are some weddings that stand out, not just for their romance, but for the sheer magic of the setting. We want to share with you the recent celebration at The Grand Lady in Austin- a gorgeous wedding venue that we had the privilege to illustrate.

The custom watercolor of The Grand Lady adorned the top of the wedding invitation card, highlighting the venue right when guests open the pretty black envelopes.

We were happy to also be able to share our medium white box rental to display their seating chart display. We loved designing their wedding invitations and menus!

Lindsey and Parker :: A Soft Romantic Wedding at Historic Woodbine Mansion in Austin

Custom Wedding Venue Illustration for Wedding Invitation Envelope Liner

We loved working with Lindsey and Parker for their wedding invitation and day-of stationery and signage. In the heart of Round Rock, amidst the timeless beauty of the Woodbine Mansion, love stories unfold in a tapestry of elegance and romance. From intimate gatherings to grand affairs, each wedding held at this historic venue is a testament to the enduring allure of true love and the promise of happily ever after.

One particularly memorable detail that sets a wedding apart is the custom venue illustration created for the envelope liner of the wedding invitations. This exquisite touch adds an extra layer of sophistication to the couple's stationery suite, serving as a stunning preview of the grandeur that awaits guests on the big day. The illustration captures the essence of the Woodbine Mansion - its regal facade, sprawling grounds, and enchanting ambiance - in exquisite detail, making it a cherished keepsake for both the couple and their loved ones.

We carried the classic invitation suite style into the day-of stationery. Blending the venue's historic charm with personal touches that reflect the couple's unique style, we rented our gold antique mirrors for the welcome sign and seating chart, and gold acrylic frames for the custom signage, including table numbers and bar sign. The bar sign with custom cocktail illustrations was a hit!

Thank you Lindsey and Parker!

Anna and Jacob :: A Colorful Spring Wedding in Austin

Designing invitations for a spring wedding in Austin for Anna and Jacob was a joyous journey filled with creativity, collaboration, and boundless inspiration. From the dreamy impression of the letterpress invitations to the whimsical charm of the custom watercolor envelope liners, every aspect of the suite was imbued with the magic of the season and the love shared by the couple. As guests received these invitations, they were not merely pieces of paper but tokens of a love story blossoming in full splendor.

No detail was spared in creating a truly immersive experience for the wedding guests. For the envelope liners, our watercolor artist was able to craft bespoke designs that echoed the natural beauty of the surroundings. Delicate wildflowers and cascading canopy trees adorned each envelope, offering a glimpse of the enchantment that awaited recipients inside.

To convey the elegance and sophistication of the couple's love story, we chose the timeless art of letterpress printing. Letterpress not only adds a tactile quality to the invitations but also imparts a sense of tradition and refinement that perfectly complemented the couple's aesthetic. The invitations featured exquisite typography, meticulously pressed into luxurious cotton paper, inviting guests to witness a union that blooms as beautifully as the season itself.

Designing their day-of stationery was an easy way to incorporate the beauty from their invitation design to their custom watercolor cocktail sign, bar menu, programs, seating chart, and place cards. We didn’t want to take away from the beauty of the natural florals by Stem Floral or the surrounding nature of The Four Seasons Austin, so we kept the designs minimal and straightforward, yet captivating and functional.

At the heart of it all, this wedding invitation suite served as a celebration of love, creativity, and the timeless art of storytelling through design – a testament to the power of paper and ink to capture the essence of a moment and invite others to share in its beauty.
